Things to do in Coventry

Let’s get the ball rolling atCoventry Transport Museum, where the strange and spectacular are showcased with everyday vehicles through the years. Cracking on with the cultural exploration, there’s also theWatch Museum, theHerbert Art Gallery and the Music Museum – each offering a snapshot of the city’s cultural importance.

Coventry’s cathedral site is another must-see. The remains of the 14th-century building are a reminder of the city’s wartime toll, and the 1950s cathedral next door is a testament to its regeneration.

Just on the outskirts of the city are Coombe Abbey Park – an immaculate, wide-open garden, and Go Ape – tree-climbing, zip-wiring fun for all ages. The medievalWarwick Castle stands 10 km to the south and is packed with mesmerising history and thrilling events.
