The Chair of Geoinformatics belongs to theTUM Department of Aerospace and Geodesy within the School of Engineering and Design at the Technical University of Munich.

Prof. Dr. Thomas H. Kolbe is the head of the chair. He is also founding member of theLeonhard Obermeyer Center - TUM Center of Digital Methods for the Built Environment, member of theHans Eisenmann-Forum - TUM World Agricultural Systems Center at theTUM School of Life Sciences in Weihenstephan, and core member of theTUM Munich Data Science Institute.
