With a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Maryland, he has contributed extensively to industry guidelines and research. As president, he oversees Dominion Engineering, a consulting, equipment, and services company serving the nuclear industry. He lives in McLean, Virginia, with his wife and enjoys running his daughter's Girl Scout troop.
