(In thelinked page, select the "予告編" video.) Sunrise's filmadaptation ofHideaki Sorachi'sGintama alternate-history gag manga willopen on April 24. The website also added anintroduction toGintama and blogapplets. The manga's first 31 volumes have sold 29 million copies.
The website for thePrecure All Stars DX2: Kibō no Hikari— Rainbow Angel o Mamore! (Precure All Stars DX2: Light of Hope— Protect the Rainbow Angel!) magical girl anime film hasposted a new 45-second teaser trailer on Saturday. The film will open in Japan on March 20. The website alsooffers details of the free rubber handbags and the "Crystal Miracle Light"/limited-edition promotional Data Cardass card set being offered to advance ticket buyers and the first moviegoers, respectively. The previous Precure All Stars DX film, 2009'sPrecure All Stars DX: Minna Tomodachi—Kiseki no Zenin Daishūgō,bridged all sixPretty Cure (Precure) television series fromToei Animation by including the casts from all six years. A new television series calledHeartcatch Precure! willlaunch next spring.
The website for the 18thCrayon Shin-chan anime film,Crayon Shin-chan: Chō Jikū! Arashi o Yobu Ora no Hanayome, has begunstreaming a 32-second teaser trailer on Saturday. For the first time in the series, the film will depict the future of the title character and his previously unseen bride, Tamiko. The film will open on April 17. The publisherFutabasharevealed plans for a manga "sequel" to the originalCrayon Shin-chan four-panel comedy manga next summer, even though the creator,Yoshito Usui,passed away in September. The television anime series version will alsocontinue.
