Brazil hasnamed a 32-women roster for the 2025 Women’s Rugby World Cup.As Yaras will make their debut at the Women’s Rugby World Cup in England. It will be the first time that Brazil has competed at a Rugby World Cup.

The 2025 Women’s Rugby World Cup will take place in England from August 22 to September 27. Brazil’s roster was announced at a special event at theMuseu do Futebol at theEstádio do Pacaembu in São Paulo.

The roster contains eleven players who have competed at the Olympic Games. Luiza Campos and Raquel Kochhann are the big name players. Both are vastly experienced, having competed in three Olympic Games each. Kochhann was the flag-bearer for Brazil at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games Opening Ceremony.

As Yaras will travel to England on August 14 and make their Women’s Rugby World Cup debut on August 24 against South Africa in Northampton. One week later, the Brazilians will take on France in Exeter and their final pool match will be against Italy on September 07, Brazil’s Independence Day.

England 2025 will be the tenth edition of the Women’s Rugby World Cup. The first was played in 1991 with the USA defeating England 19-6 to be crowned World Champions. New Zealand are the reigning champions. The Black Ferns defeated England 34-31 at the 2002 Women’s Rugby World Cup Final in Auckland, New Zealand.

The 2035 Women’s Rugby World Cup marks the first time that South America has a competitor involved.Brazil qualified by defeating Colombia. In addition toAs Yaras, the Americas will have two other representatives in England 2025: Canada and the USA.
