This looks to be a very good book on a subject few in the west have even heard of. However it is priced like a textbook, with a forced readership and a required purchase. No one, not forced to pay this outrages price will bother.

I really wanted to buy this book. With a Kindle price of 10 to 12 dollars I would be very tempted. Given my average book price is around 5 dollars I would be reaching to pay twice that.

Still, it so something I really want to read about. With this price I will seek information from other sources. Perhaps I can find a good paper on the subject from someone who understands price and demand.

The book is a salute to the quiet resolve of the Indian soldier and must be read by those who are proud to be Indians. Appendices are in abundance and so are the minute details that will make this book a collector's item for libraries, military offices and India's growing generation of military buffs.
