NOT A REGULAR AUDIO CD
This is Not a regular CD! I can only play on a computer, Can't play on a regular CD player! The video portion is only and advertisement to get more product. I don't understand all of it, but I ordered a Regular CD! It looks the same but it's Not! HAS A Live web link to address and info of where to go to get more! I BOUGHT A REGULAR CD, THIS IS NOT THAT!

    I purchased this CD on a whim when I bought seasons 1-4 of Smallville on DVD. I never watched the series when it originally ran, but started catching it in reruns. It was pretty obvious that the background music was well thought out in order to compliment the storyline, and I found myself waiting for the end credits to see the names of the new musical artists. What a better way to sample the music than buy the CD? I just found myself on a roadtrip for 3 hours and managed to play the CD in a loop for the entire ride. There are some familiar mainstream favorites like Five for Fightings "Superman", but you'll also enjoy Eva Cassidy's interpretation of "Time After Time". The songs on the CD will be easily recognized from the show if you are a fan, but if you aren't and are just looking for something to enjoy on the road, I'd highly recommend this CD. My only disappointment is that it appears as though this is the only CD from the show's mix. The soundtrack includes: "Save Me"-Remy Zero (show's theme song), "Inside Out"-VonRay (excellent), "Island in the Sun"-Weezer (just plain fun), "Superman"-Five for Fighting, "Nuclear"-Ryan Adams, "Lonely Day"-Phantom Planet (kinda attaches itself to you), "Fight Test"-The Flaming Lips, "Don't Dream it's Over"-Sixpence None the Richer, "Wave Goodbye"-Steadman, "I Just Wanna Be Loved"-AM Radio (who doesn't?...and it's a blast to sing along with), "Everything"-Lifehouse (the shows familiar love theme--and a great song), and "Time After Time"-Eva Cassidy. I think a younger group will definitely enjoy, but the music is also a nice fit for my generation (late 30's). I have a friend who is waiting to borrow the CD...my guess is that a future purchase will ensue! Highly recommend.

    1) Item arrived within estimate. CD in very good condition & plays well. This is my main interest.
    2) Also, know that this item came in a broken case with two resale stickers secured over it. I consider the jewel case to be in poor condition. Yet, I can replace the case for less $ than te cost a merchant's mark-up may be for a higher over-all condition. A summary of the total item meets its advertised "Good" condition.
    3) Cost was less expensive than other similar advertisers.

    As a casual fan of the show I decided to obtain this cd because I liked the song Superman (It's Not Easy). I have always felt and still do feel that this song would have made a better opening theme song for SMALLVILLE than Save Me. I never cared for that song. Except for Save Me I would have given this cd 5 stars as I like the remaining eleven songs included on this cd. I gather many people like Save Me so I guess I may be in a minority as far as this song is concerned.

    I found some of the tracks to be truely wondrous. I don't usually go in for remakes but I have to admit that both Time After Time and Don't Dream It's Over are almost as good as the originals. Actually Time after Time is better than the original and how can something so sad be so beautiful as well? Also, the new more modern arrangement for these songs seems to fit the show better than if the tv shows producers had decided to play the 1980's originals. I'd also like to mention Nuclear and Everything. Nuclear is an upbeat song that seems to improve the listeners mood. The romantic ballad Everything starts out soft and actually builds in sound and intensity during the final portion of the song.

    All in all not a bad cd. the pc extras didn't appeal to me but then I bought the cd for the music and not the extra pc features. In general such features on a music cd hold little interest for me. I await a sequel cd but find it hard to believe it could be as good as this one.

    My husband and I watch Smallville regularly, so I recently purchased this soundtrack for him as a gift. While we love the theme song and enjoy much of the other music on the show, I did fear the the CD would contain some of the show's more metal-sounding tunes. We were pleasantly surprised to discover that this is a soundtrack of very mellow music--think of the many sweet but sad songs that are played as Clark and/or Lana stares off into space at the end of each episode. There are also two cover tunes for the older crowd: Time After Time (made famous by Cyndi Lauper, who co-wrote the song with Rob Hyman of The Hooters) and Don't Dream It's Over (Crowded House). This collection serves as great background music for relaxing or even a dinner party; recommended for other 30-something Smallville fans like us.

    I never could get enough of the super theme song. This cdis packed with get film music from the series. A must for any serious follower of the series! A+++++

    I have been a fan since the beginning, so this was awesome. I only wish they had or came out with all hit songs throughout the seasons.

    Mit dieser CD liegt einer der besten Soundtracks seit langem vor. Schon das erste Anspielen der Songs hat mich begeistert. Neben dem bekannten Titelsong "Save me" gibt es genügend weitere klasse Songs. Lediglich Track 12 fällt ein wenig aus dem Rahmen und langweilt etwas.
    Auch wenn ich den Smallville-Soundtrack nur auf gut Glück gekauft habe und noch 18.95 € hinblättern musste, war die CD jeden Cent wert! Denn seither läuft sie immer und immer wieder. Schon Morgens ist es der ideale Wachmacher, um mit Super(man)Laune in den Tag zu starten. Und Abends zum Capucchino laufen dann die ruhigen Sachen wie "Don't dream it's over", "Everything" oder "Lonely Day".
    Fazit: Bereits nach dem zweiten Anhören war klar, dass die CD lange Zeit zu meinen Favouriten gehören wird. Müsste ich von all meinen CDs 10 auswählen, die ich behalten dürte, würde diese auf jeden Fall dazu gehören.
    Jetzt habe ich den "Smallville - Metropolis Mix" bestellt (nochmal einen Tick teurer). Aber wenn der genauso gut ist wie diese CD hier, dann war es das Geld wert ...

    Remy Zeroのオープニングテーマが聴きたくて買いました。聴いてみると、私好みの切ないメロディの曲ばかり。物悲しいような、美しいコードがこれでもかってくらい胸を打ちます。ドラマ全体の、クラーク・ケントの苦悩や波乱を思うとぴったりなのかなと思います。中でもSixpence None The Richerの「Don't Dream It's Over」がすごく良いです。NHKで放送されてた時は、エンディングで流れてましたよね。他にもWeezerやFive For Fightingなど実力派のバンドばかり。１２トラックの「Time After Time」はシンディ・ローパーのカヴァーです。これもまた静かな、優しいアレンジが効いています。　enhancedCDでRemy ZeroとVon Rayのライブ映像が見られます。ジャケットにはトム・ウェリング、クリスティン・クルック、内側にマイケル・ローゼンバウムのアップが使われています。個人的にインナーに使われてる、農場の夕焼け空の写真がとてもキレイで気に入ってます。クレジットにマドンナとありますが、あのマドンナでしょうか・・・？それだけが気になります（笑）。

    Es uno de los mejores soundtracks que para mi gusto han salido, no todos los días puedes adquirir un album que reune a tantos talentos y que representan los buenos momentos de la serie, si eres fan de Smallville o simplemente quieres escuchar buena música no dudes en adquirirlo.
