- Reviewed in the United States on June 10, 2019Before coming to My Three Sons, Fred MacMurray was mainly known for his movie roles, he starred in the Disney films The Absent Minded Professor and The Shaggy Dog. But the main reason I got this series was to see Don Grady again, who sadly passed away on June 27, 2012 at the age of 68, Robbie appeared in all of the 12 seasons, though the last one was in credit only.
The following is the episode guide to season 3 - part 2 has the last 19 episodes !!!!!
.Ep 21 - Big Chief Bub
Chip's boy scout group is losing their den mother and a scout when the family is moving out of state.
Ep 22 - The Clunky Kid
When a new kid moves into town, Sudsy befriends him. Soon, Sudsy is spending all his time with his new friend and Chip is odd man out.
Ep 23 - Caged Fury
Steve becomes the tutor for the members of Robbie's wrestling team so they can improve their school grades.
Ep 24 - Make Way for Yesterday
Robbie convinces his current events club committee to have an old fashioned dunking machine booth at the school carnival after Bub comes up with the idea.

Ep 28 - Bub's Butler
Bub enters a contest and wins the top prize. He finds out he won $2,000 and the services of a proper butler for two weeks.
Ep 29 - Francesca
The boys have their hands full when Steve and Bub are not home. The boys deal with two sick children, a runaway woman (Anita Sands), and a wild bird who gets in the house.

Ep 31 - The System
In his psychology course, Mike learns about random sampling, questionnaires, and graphing results. He uses these skills to determine who Robbie should date.

Ep 33 - Total Recall

Ep 34 - When I Was Your Age
Bub thinks the boys are not doing their chores fast enough or well enough
E9 35 - Chip's World

Ep 36 - Evening with a Star
To earn money, Chip sells tickets to a raffle in which the prize is a date with a star. Bub does not realize he is the star
Ep 37 - The Date Bureau
Robbie and his friends decide to match his classmates up scientifically so the dates could be successful.
Ep 38 - Bub's Sacrifice

- Reviewed in the United States on February 8, 2022They don't make shows like this anymore. So if you like shows that are funny and clean. You might like this tv series from the 60's. One draw back it is in Black and White.

- Reviewed in the United States on June 16, 2019The good news is, after a 10 or 11 year gap, CBS is once again releasing My Three Sons on DVD. All but 6 of the episodes are original network length. Other reviewers have detailed the shortened episodes. Unlike the first two seasons, all the episode music cues are intact. These sets are the ONLY place you can get the majority of these episodes at original network length.
The bad news is that episodes were not remastered this time, and appear to be derived from 16mm copies of the original episodes. They are quite viewable, though. The price is a bit high for episodes that have had no remastering. Also, two episodes have songs which have been cut out, reducing episode length. In the episode "Big Chief Bub", the Scouts sing the song "K-K-K-Katy" three short times, which were all cut, and in the episode "Evening With A Star", William Frawley's singing of "Carolina In The Morning" was cut. Again, for these prices, CBS should have licensed use of the music.
The positives of these set far outweigh the negatives, and Volume 1 and 2 are highly recommended.
