About the author

I'm a Distinguished Professor and the Lawrence A. Jegen III Professor at the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. I've written five books on constitutional law and history. My 2022 biography of Bushrod Washington won the Erwin N. Griswold Prize from the Supreme Court Historical Society. My next book (coming out soon!) will be about Justice Robert H. Jackson's landmark concurring opinion in The Steel Seizure Case.

Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
