- Reviewed in the United States on January 28, 2022I would double my rating if possible. I served with Hersey's nephew in Viet Nam and just recently found out about the relationship. The book is a real page turner and packs a lot of info into a few pages. I think the author held to the kiss principle. Any one with the slightest interest should find the interview of Vincent H. Okamoto, on line. His actions for which he was given the Distinguished Service Cross should be up graded to the MOH, in my opinion. The late Judge Okamoto, among other things, was the most decorated Japanese American In the Viet Nam war. Thank God for men such as the ones in this book may they never be forgotten.
