How customer reviews and ratings work
Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

- Reviewed in the United States on March 29, 2020As much as I enjoy the narrative of the book and the behind-the-scenes stories, it's hard to ignore the many factual errors in this book. For example, he says that "Chris" Carter helped the Vikings beat the 49ers in the 1987 playoffs, when in reality Cris Carter wasn't a Viking, and the player in question was Anthony Carter. He also says that Roger Craig won Super Bowl XIX MVP (he didn't; Montana did) and that Steve Young was the first player taken in the 1984 draft (he wasn't; Irving Fryar was). All of these errors could have been corrected with a quick look into an NFL Record & Fact Book. It's rather lazy to make such obvious errors. And these are just the ones I caught, there may be others. The number one thing I look for in a book is factual accuracy. This book is a tad off.
