As other reviewers have commented, the omission of "if you're Tarzan I'm Jane" is notable, but there are so many good songs on here you will still love it "more than you know". I had forgotten how much I loved "Temptation" and every time I hear "water"- how good is that one?- I remember how the lyrics were written in a slanted style (like italic but they looked hand written) and my best friend and I used to think it was a "Z" rather than an "I" and giggle at how silly the lyrics were. Happy times. Buy this cd and then buy it again and again and again. I love it - although there's every chance the other drivers going past me on the M4 in the mornings when I'm singing along in my car just think I'm an idiot!

'Toy soldiers' is as fresh as ever - a fantastic track and you will soon forget the Eminem version! But my favourite is 'I love you more than you know'it will have you dancing around the living room! the forgotten gems of 'Martika's kitchen' and the beautiful 'Love thy will be done' will make you you realise how good she was..a real contender to Madonna at one point...i should know.. i remember it the first time around!

Even though I don't like some of the songs on the greatest hits, the ones I do like warrant a 5 star rating because they are classic 80's and 90's hits. For Martika's brief appearance on the pop scene at least she has cranked out such hits as "More Than U Know", "Toy Soldiers", "Cross My Heart", and "Love Thy Will B Done". It's cool how the greatest hits collection includes a Prince remix of "Love Thy Will B Done". ８０年代後半に登場したマルティカ・・・覚えている人も多いと思いますが、ルックスよし、歌も悪くない・・・でも、伸び悩みましたよね。

I was a fan of Martika's when I was a kid and I still love her music now. She is a great singer/songwriter who had great songs. Toy Soldiers is a classic and so is the vastly underrated Prince collobaration, Love...Thy Will Be Done. I think her career should have flourished beyond her first two albums, but I'm happy to have all of her great songs on one CD.
