SYNOPSIS

Rayle Mackenzie, a 34 year old, advertising film director, receives a phone call from a childhood friend he hasn’t seen
or spoken to for more than quarter of a century.

The phone call brings Rayle to India on a journey which takes him way out of his comfort zone, as he attempts to solve the mystery of the most valuable icon in the modern world - The Peacock Throne.

The Peacock Throne, built for the Emperor Shah Jahan - he of Taj Mahal fame - to reflect his magnificence, was made of four tons of solid gold and embedded with priceless diamonds, emeralds and rubies. It was stolen from the Red Fort in Delhi by a Persian warlord, some 250 years ago, and was never seen again.

Now only one man knows of its whereabouts - or does he?

Rayle has hardly stepped off the plane in Mumbai, when he finds himself embroiled in a web of danger and intrigue, double cross and murder.

Set in the beautiful State of Kerala in southern India, The Road to Malabar is a high octane thrill of a story, and is a must read for every adventure seeking traveller.
