ACS has released 10 new ANZSCO codes across cyber security, data science, and dev ops. These occupations are now available as part of the Skills Selection process when completing an application. Processing Times
Following ACS's holiday closure period, applicants should anticipate some delays to processing while ACS supports recent December and January submissions (e.g. an additional 3+ weeks).

Note to previous applicants
ACS regularly reviews and updates assessment criteria adapting to IT industry and technology trends. Because of this, it is sometimes possible for returning applicants to receive an outcome not in line with their previous assessment outcomes.
Designated by the Minister for Department of Home Affairs (DOHA) in accordance with Regulation 2.26B (1) and (2) of the Migration Regulations 1994 (Commonwealth Regulations) (the Regulations) ACS determines at its sole discretion, the standards against which the skills of a person are assessed as being suitable for their nominated occupation.
