Amazon partners with food assistance organizations across the globe to help address the rising rates of food insecurity, including communities around our hometown in the Puget Sound region and in Arlington, Virginia, and Nashville, Tennessee.
In these communities, we have donated millions in cash to support hunger relief programs directly benefiting children and families, along with in-kind donations equivalent to serving over 30 million meals. - In theArlington region, Amazon has partnered withCapital Area Food Bank,Bread for the City,Communities in Schools of Northern Virginia, and local restaurants. Together, we deliver food and provide free fruits, vegetables, and other groceries to residents through the support of pop-up mobile markets.
- InNashville,we work withSecond Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee andCommunities in Schools of Tennessee to support in-school food pantries, meal backpack initiatives, and other basic needs.
