Step 1. Read the below terms and conditions to ensure you qualify for a Free Personal Assistant ticket.
Step 2. Purchase your full price ticket for the day you wish to attend & Add you 1 Free Personal Assistant Ticket.
Step 3. Complete the application link above.
Step 4. Await your confirmation, if you do not submit relevant proof to access@worthingpride.com within 5 days your free PA ticket will be cancelled.
Access points to the site for easy access are the south end of the gardens on the seafront marked ‘Easy Access’
The ground is parkland, mainly grass and on a slight incline with uneven in places. The site may be muddy, water-soaked, or dusty depending on the weather – it is not a stadium and does not have hard-standing or dedicated seating areas.
Access Passes for Pride in the Park
All access passes will be allocated to customers upon arrival by the access team based in the main entrance. Please, go to any gate upon arrival to the event including the quieter gates marked easy access and exchange your e-ticket for a wristband and once you are in the park, head to the access tent to collect your additional passes. See map with your pre-registration confirmation.
If you are in a wheelchair or have mobility issues, we recommend that you use the Accessible Gate. A map will be available at a later date and will be sent to all pre-registered customers with access requirements.
The ground level viewing area is a dedicated safe space located near to the side of the main stage, this must be pre-booked and if you are allocated a space, this will be available for you to use all day. The ground level viewing area has a limited capacity and is for access customers plus 1 PA only.
Must be kept on leads at all times and under control. Any dogs off lead of not behaving will be asked to leave the site. We are unable to accommodate emotional support or therapy dogs.
There is a limited number of accessible parking space at Pride in the Park on both days. Pride has no control of these spaces.
Smoke machines, strobe lights and other special effects may be in use at the events. Please contact us for more information if you may be affected by this.
1 Free PA ticket is available if you submit the following evidence:
DLA Letter - You will need to submit the middle/higher rate in order for a free PA/carer ticket.
Personal Independence Payment (PIP) You will need to submit enhanced daily living rate or mobility rate for a free PA/Carer ticket.
The Access Card or equivalent with +1 for a free PA/Carer ticket
CredAbility Access Card +1 category requirement for a free PA/Carer ticket
There will be BSL Interpreters at the main stage on both days.
Carer tickets are not allocated to parent/guardians of children aged 18 and under, as all children attending Worthing Pride must be accompanied by a responsible adult/carer.
There will be wheelchair accessible toilets located throughout the park.
Worthing Pride would like to be a safe and happy place for all to enjoy, however, the large crowds mixed with different sounds and lights can be overwhelming especially for customers with mental health, sensory and emotional issues.At pride there are welfare facilities which will provide experienced, confidential, and caring support for all kinds of practical and personal help. There are quieter areas for time out spaces.
Worthing Pride is located in the town of Worthing and is accessible by car, bus, and train.Stagecoach have wheelchair friendly buses, please, contact them direct for their timetable https://www.stagecoachbus.com/regional-service-updates/south/worthing-and-brightonIf you are arriving by car, please, refer to Adur and Worthing Council’s website for parking throughout the town https://www.adur-worthing.gov.uk/parking/ this will give you information regarding the nearest car park and the nearest blue badge spaces to all Pride events.
All Worthing Pride sites will have trained medical staff from our medical provider, if you require urgent assistance, please, seek help from a member of staff who will be able to assist you.
Worthing Pride is committed to ensuring the event is an event everyone can attend. The facilities detailed in this form are for customers with permanent/access requirements and are not for people with temporary impairments such as broken bones, healing wounds, unable to stand for long period with no certified disability.
We operate two tiers of support tickets for our guest: Personal Assistant and Carer options. This is designed to ensure that guests needing the most support to be at the event are looked after accordingly.
Worthing Pride does not permit any fold up chairs, camping chairs, benches, or seats in the main arena. For seated requirements please follow the below guidance.

When you have purchased your Worthing Pride ticket you can then register your access requirements and purchase 1 free Personal Assistant ticket to support you on the day (subject to qualifying criteria) or the discounted carers tickets (50% off the main ticket price).

Please note: Only tickets purchased via Worthingpride.com and Eventbrite ticketing provider are valid for the event and the person whose name is on the ticket/s will need to show photo ID to exchange the e-tickets for wristbands on the day of the event.
Proof of disability is required to pre-book our facilities details of which are listed further below.
This year we have revised our system to ensure you have the opportunity to submit the supporting documents in advance.
Due to high demand for these facilities, we do recommend attendees complete the access request form and return the form as soon as you can. The link can be found hereclick to apply
The closing date for submitting evidence in advance is 15th June 2024. However, if you apply after this date, please, contact us to discuss your requirements, we will always try to accommodate any late requests.

The access team working hours are Monday & Friday 10am till 4pm. Please note, the access team work remotely, and the days/hours may vary each week.

Your application will be accessed on a case-by-case basis.
