Powur: Brand Refresh & Activation
Powur is one of the nation’s leading home solar tech brands. Adam Smith of Within was hired to complete a dynamic brand refresh and activation project. The initiative included a revitalized visual identity, brand guide, design system, and myriad marketing and communications assets to to reflect Powur’s innovative, customer-first approach to renewable energy.
The project also introduced new tools and resources to empower both Powur Sellers and homeowners. With a modernized look and renewed focus on sustainability, Powur is poised to continue its mission of making solar energy accessible and impactful for communities nationwide.
Following the brand refresh, Smith was hired as Powur’s VP of Brand and oversaw the design, UI/UX, digital marketing, and video production teams.

Impact Report
Within designed Powur’s most recent sustainability report, showcasing the company’s impressive carbon reduction achievements through rooftop solar installations and translating them into relatable environmental equivalencies. The report also highlighted Powur’s significant growth over the year, emphasizing its leadership in the clean energy sector and its unwavering commitment to driving a sustainable future.
Social Media
Within’s Adam Smith created the social media design templates and managed the design team to ensure brand consistency to further enhance Powur’s digital presence. These adaptable templates streamlined content creation, maintained a cohesive look across platforms.

Within’s Adam Smith oversaw the development of the detailed and comprehensive design system. The design system serves as a comprehensive framework that ensures consistency, efficiency, and scalability across the app’s user interface and experience. It includes a library of reusable components, patterns, and guidelines that define how visual elements, interactions, and content should be designed and implemented.
