Wonder Space is the third stage of the levelPurple Fortress inKirby and the Rainbow Curse. In this stage,Kirby traverses a bizarre alien landscape, where he has to make use of or avoid theWarpspaces to make progress.

Completing the stage unlocksThe Final Battle.

Overview[edit]

The stage begins in a room with a greenWarpspace. Here, Kirby can learn how Warpspaces work before moving on to theCannon on the left. The cannon sends him to another room with more Warpspaces, these ones being a different color. After passing these ones to reach the next cannon, a third room is reached, this one being larger and containing blue Warpspaces, along with a coupleSpear Cottas. Heading to the left from here will allow another Kirby to access one more cannon which will take him to the next area.

The next area introduces theShieldster. Kirby will have to find an opening to take this guy out in order to move forward. Another Shieldster needs to be passed further to the left in order to reach the door.

This third area combines Warpspaces and Shieldsters to create a series of halls that need to be quickly moved through. A door to a challenge room can be accessed to the left from here, while the main path leads right past some Warpspaces guarding a1-Up. Further up, after passing by another Shieldster, Kirby will need to intentionally jump into a red Warpspace in order to move forward. He is launched into a room with a red and blue Warpspace, and will need to take the blue one to reach the next area.

While flying up in the next area, the game briefly pauses to show the player the potential items Kirby can get, including a treasure chest. Up top, one of three Warpspaces will need to be jumped into to be launched back down toward a specific item. In the process, Kirby will be taken to the next area.

The next area features a room where Kirby will need to bypass a Shieldster and use a Warpspace to clear the path for agondola ride. There are several stars to be obtained out in the open spaces, but the main path leads upward through a long vertical shaft, where Kirby may need to switch tracks every now and then to get the things he wants, including a treasure chest.

In the next area, Kirby is still riding his gondola, but much faster now, and toward the right. He'll need to divert from the track to pick up some goodies and avoid hazards. Near the end of this track, he'll end up racing against aGondola Bzztbulb who ends the race by crashing into a wall. Kirby meanwhile will be dumped into a room with an open roof, which leads to a secret area, but the main path is forward.

In the next room, Kirby has to battle and defeat aGrinkey while avoiding being eaten by the Warpspaces. Once the key is obtained, Kirby can head up and out, where he can collect more stars and then use the green Warpspace to move to the next area.

The last area features a heavy wind current dragging Kirby to the right past many Warpspaces that will send him back. Once more chest can be found in this area before reaching theroulette wheel at the end of the stage.

TreasureHow to reach
A door to a challenge room can be accessed right after passing the Shieldster and Warpspace halls. In this room, Kirby has to navigate past several Warpspaces and a bumper to reach the chest on the left side.
While being launched up to a room with three Warpspaces in it, the game will briefly pause to show the player where the chest is in relation to the other items. Up in the Warpspace room, Kirby should pick the one on the right to shoot down the middle and get the chest.

Treasure 3:Warpspace Figurine
While riding thegondola up the tall vertical passage, Kirby will need to switch tracks a few times to collect stars and avoid a Gordo. The chest can be found on the left after another track crossing, and Kirby should not switch tracks if he had been following the cues up to this point to get the chest.

Treasure 4:Shieldster Figurine
After riding the long fast gondola track to the end of the area, Kirby shouldStar Dash up the hole in the ceiling in the room at the end to reach a different area. In this area, Kirby has to steer up a chute full of Warpspaces in order to reach the top and hit a bell in the process. This done, a bunch of stars will rain down, along with the chest to the right.

Treasure 5:C-R-O-W-N-E-D Track
In the last area where Kirby is being swept by a wind current past big Warpspaces, the chest can be found nestled underneath a bunch of Warpspaces. Kirby will need to use a Star Dash to get the chest without being eaten.
