With Gusto! Turn the Windmills (Ring Mouth Treasure for short) is a stage inTreasure Road, found inWondaria Remains. This stage tasksKirby with completing a challenge revolving around the use ofRing Mouth, using its Windblast technique to slipWindmill Switches. The stage is initially hidden, and can be found by "searching" theWorld Map, located atop the green rocket on the far right side of the park. It is marked by two stars of difficulty and has a stage time of two and a half minutes (two minutes in Wild Mode), with a target time of one minute.
Stage details[edit]
This stage consists of five distinct challenges involvingWindmill Switches. For the first, Kirby merely has to inhale the hoop to getRing Mouth and then Windblast the switch, which will cause a staircase of blocks to appear for him to jump up to the next area. For the second, Kirby needs to hit two windmills moving back and forth. For the third, Kirby needs to hit three windmills behind shifting walls. For the fourth, Kirby needs to hit three windmills moving back and forth behind cover. For the last, Kirby is placed in a room with rotating walls with two windmills on them and two behind them. Each time Kirby flips all the windmills in an area after the first, a warp pad activates to take him to the next spot. After taking the last warp pad, Kirby merely needs to blast someBuffahorns out of the way to get to theRare Stone at the end.
Tips[edit]
The following are tips on how to attain the target time for this stage:
- The target time for this stage is not so tight that Kirby cannot stop for a moment to properly orient himself and hit each windmill switch.
- In the later areas, Kirby may be best served to focus on tracking each switch's movement and hitting them at the right time, rather than focusing on multiple at once.
