TheWii is a seventh-generation console released byNintendo in late 2006 as the successor to theNintendo Gamecube and the predecessor to theWii U. Its most notable feature is its control system, which includes motion sensitivity and point-and-click features, alongside backwards compatiblity with GameCube accessories (later on removed in newer models outside of Japan). ThreeKirby games were released for it,Kirby's Epic Yarn being the first, followed byKirby's Return to Dream Land andKirby's Dream Collection Special Edition.Super Smash Bros. Brawl, a game that featuresKirby characters, was also made for this system.
