"Water Land" is a cheery and placid theme in G major. Its composition is characteristic ofsamba, using a variant of apartido alto rhythm. It has a short guitar intro with gentle percussion, giving it a similar atmosphere to "Quilty Court". The lead flute plays a simple melody somewhat resembling that of "Big-Bean Vine". Following up is the guitar's solo, where its phrase rounds out the form while using the resolution of "Grass Land" mixed with the descending intonations of "Flower Fields". After this, the intro repeats, now extended and with a steelpan solo, completing the summery character. The track loops from the first section.
