Waddle Dee's Weapons Shop is a building inWaddle Dee Town that is constructed after completingNatural Plains inKirby and the Forgotten Land andKirby and the Forgotten Land – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Star-Crossed World. The shop's logo features ablueprint and the hat of theSword ability. Here,Kirby can freely equip anyCopy Ability he has come across on his adventures, and also have themevolved by the shop's owner:Weapons-Shop Waddle Dee. In addition to these services, Weapons-Shop Waddle Dee can also power-up normal and evolved abilities later in the game onceStory Mode is completed. Weapons-Shop Waddle Dee will also give Kirby advice when spoken to; due to the absence of Copy Ability command lists inKirby and the Forgotten Land, the names and button executions of some moves are mentioned by Weapons-Shop Waddle Dee.
When first entering the shop, Weapons-Shop Waddle Dee will provide the blueprints forChakram Cutter andVolcano Fire, and give Kirby the funds he needs to evolve one of them. From then on, blueprints need to be found in order to unlock other evolved abilities for purchase.
The shop also acts as aCopy Ability Room, as Kirby can obtain Copy Abilities byinhaling the hats on display, and the right side inside the building is also home to a testing room, where Kirby can try out attacks onMr. Sandbag. Abilities that have not yet been acquired in a stage will not be available in the Weapons Shop, the only exceptions being Fire and Cutter, that are available regardless upon unlocking the shop. However, when the player obtains any given blueprint, if its base ability is one Kirby hasn't acquired yet, it will be added to the shop when the player goes to turn in the blueprint, in the same way as if he has acquired it in a regular stage.
ARare Stone is hidden on the shop's roof.
