Uja[1] is a floating enemy fromKirby: Squeak Squad. It appears to be a swarm of insects clouded together to create one of two dark and murky forms. The first resemblesMaster Hand, and the second resembles a large scimitar. It floats slowly afterKirby, in an attempt to collide with him to deal damage. When it appears or shifts shape, it makes a creepy noise, distinguishing it from most every other creature in the game. If it gets hit, it will phase out in order to avoid taking more damage, and will often flee the scene afterward. Uja has a great deal of hit points, but it can beinhaled easily.

When possessed byGhost Kirby, Uja can be made to fly around, changing its orientation as it moves in a given direction. Uja will transform of its own accord into its hand or sword form, even while possessed, and cannot be forced to change unless it is hit. It cannot attack directly while in hand form, but when in sword form, it can be made to thrust, cutting ropes and foliage and dealing heavy damage to enemies.

Trivia[edit]

  • InSuper Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS/Wii U, playing Classic Mode on sufficient difficulties will finish in a fight with Master Hand and Crazy Hand depending on the player's route. Defeating one of the hands causes the other to unleash Master Core, with one of its forms, "Master Edges", being a flurry of blades similar to Uja's scimitar form.
