"Tree to Tree" is a stage theme fromKirby Mass Attack that plays inGreen Grounds - Stage 2 andDedede Resort - Stage 11. It was composed byShogo Sakai.
Composition[edit]
"Tree to Tree" is a cheery theme in D major and 4/4. It starts with a simple intro of percussive nature featuring agüiro and guitar. The synth melody and bass join at the same time. The bassline consists of a descending syncopated passage with alteration leading to the subdominant, then repeating with a change to dominant. The melody has a sweet character. It features descending thirds and triads and concludes in a rising chromatic scale. It plays out twice, and then the melody and bass halt. The intro repeats, and shifts to a stylizedsalsa middle section in D minor centered around the dominant with characteristic key properties, and based on the bass' motif. The melody returns, also in D minor, and joins the salsa section in a climactic duet. As the melody reaches its conclusion, the bassline also halts. The intro repeats as the track loops.
