Timed Dynamite is an item, first appearing inKirby: Triple Deluxe, which, once picked up, starts its timer, then explodes when the timer goes off.

Game appearances[edit]

Kirby: Triple Deluxe[edit]

Timed Dynamite bears two volatile sticks adorned with a kitchen clock on the front, which counts down time in increments of eighths. The timer does not start until Kirby or King Dedede first picks it up. While being held, the timer goes down slowly, as the needle travels in a clockwise fashion. If the bomb is dropped or thrown, it will start counting down faster unless picked up again. When it explodes, it is capable of destroying barricade blocks, but will also harm its user if they are too close.

Timed Dynamite also appears as an item inKirby Fighters Sub-Game. When it appears, it automatically starts its timer, and when it explodes, the explosion lingers for a while, causing up to 71 points of damage to any poorKirby it catches. Timed Dynamite can also be made to appear as a result of anAction Star being activated. Timed Dynamite does not damage opponents on collision when thrown, and its timer does not change speed when held, unlike in the main game.

Kirby Fighters Deluxe &Kirby Fighters 2[edit]

Timed Dynamite reappears inKirby Fighters Deluxe andKirby Fighters 2. It remains unchanged from its Kirby Fighters appearance.

InStory Mode: The Destined Rivals, there are two story items which involve Timed Dynamite. The first is the Anti-Explosion Charm, which greatly reduces the damage the player's fighter takes from Timed Dynamite explosions, among others. The second is the Explosives Sticker, which makes the player's Timed Dynamite deal more damage to opponents. Additionally, there is a special stage condition which can happen referred to as "Explosive Stage", which restricts the items that appear to onlyBombers and Timed Dynamite.

Kirby Battle Royale[edit]

Timed Dynamite (referred to here asTime Bomb orTimer Bomb) appears in several of the battle modes, where contestants can use them on their rivals. There are a couple of varieties, with the largest variant appearing only inDedede's Cake Royale.

Time Bombs appear in the following battle modes:

• Battle Arena - If the fight goes on for too long, Time Bombs start dropping into the arena, in progressively greater numbers until the match is over.
• Crazy Theater - One of the challenges is 'Avoid the blast!', which places a Time Bomb in the arena that KOs any character in one hit; this particular bomb also shows the radius of its explosion before it happens. Contestants must dodge the explosion.
• Rocket Rumble - Time Bombs appear shortly into the game. If they explode near a rocket with fuel in it, some of the fuel will be knocked out. InDedede's Cake Royale, the "Fear the Super Time Bomb" League Battle in the Gold League has Super Time Bombs, which knocks all of the fuel out of a rocket it explodes near.

Trivia[edit]

• Timed Dynamite was also planned to be included inKirby: Planet Robobot, but was ultimately left out. It is fully functional when summoned in-game using hacks.
