The Sound of Kirby Café is a soundtrack CD containing the music tracks that play at theKirby Café restaurants in Japan. It was released on August 3rd, 2016, and sold at a price of ¥1800 ($11.69) (minus tax).
The album was followed up byThe Sound of Kirby Café 2, which released on December 12th, 2019; andThe Sound of Kirby Café - Jazz Style -, which released on December 12th, 2025.

| お店で流すBGMのために、 さまざまなタイトルの曲を題材に 日なたぼっこのようなアレンジや 思わず踊りたくなるようなアレンジ、 ちょっぴり大人でジャジーなアレンジまで、 ”カフェ”をテーマにした12の曲をつくりました。 For the background music that plays in the shop, we created twelve pieces to fit the "café" theme based on music from different titles, such as "arrangements for basking in the sun", "arrangements that make you want to dance", and "mature arrangements with a jazzy touch". |

| ちょっと風味は変わっていますが、前半はロボボプラネット版を意識しつつ， 元祖グリーングリーンズのフレーズだけを組み替えて作ってみました。 Although the flavor is a bit different, the first half is based on the Planet Robobot version, which was created by rearranging the phrases from the original Green Greens. |

| ”カフェ”がテーマではまりますが、いわゆる「ピコピコした音」が飛び交うような曲が、 ひとつくらいはあってもいいかな？と思いつつ、落ち着いた感じを損ねない程度に入れてみたつもりです。 The theme of the album is "café", but it'd be nice to have at least one song with those so-called "beep-boop sounds", right? With that in mind, I tried to include them in a way that preserved the calm vibes. |

| 最初にできた「Sixty-four／VS. ゼロ・ツー亅が雨の日っぽくなったので、 2番目にできたこの曲は晴れの日っぽく作りました。みんなでなんか食べてるイメージです。 （もちろんひとりで食べてもいいと思います。） The first song I'd made, "Sixty-four / 0² Battle", sounded like a rainy day, so this second song is made to sound like a sunny day. It gives the impression of everyone eating something together. (Of course, it's fine to eat alone, too.) |

| アレンジする際「カフェでゆったりと聴く曲」というよりも、 「できるだけ爽やかに、聴いていてわくわく・楽しい気分になるような曲」にしようと心がけて作りました。 When arranging this piece, rather than "relaxing music to listen to at a café", I made it with the intention of being "a song that's as refreshing as possible and makes you feel excited and happy when listening to it." |

| この曲は最初にできたときに、ディレクターから「もっと賑やかにして」って言われたので、 これでもだいぶ賑やかに作り直したのです。遠いどこかで鳴っている音に、うんと力を注ぎました。 When I first wrote this piece, the director told me to "make it livelier", so I rewrote it to be much livelier. I put a lot of focus into the way the sound rings out from far away. |

| 原曲に漂う中近東の気配は減らしつつも、サンドーラの遺伝子は残すように心がけました。 ゆったりとお茶を飲むときのお供にどうぞ。 そして、 原曲と同じくコーラスは酒井一人多量重、 フルートはサウンドルーキー大原さんです。 We tried to reduce the hints of the Middle East that were present in the original song while still retaining the genes of Sky Sands. It's a great accompaniment while having a relaxing cup of tea. And, just like in the original song, the chorus was performed by Sakai as a one-person ensemble; the flute was performed by Ohara, the sound rookie. |

| オリジナルは、かなり速いテンポ感の曲ですが、うんとゆったり演奏させてみても かなり短い曲だったので、中間部の展開を新たに考え、曲の長さを調整してみました。 The original piece is quite uptempo, but it's still fairly short even when played at a slower pace, so I reconsidered the development of the middle segment to adjust the overall length of the song. |

| このアレンジは「2種類の音色のみで、打楽器も一切使わず、いかに最後まで退屈しない曲を作るか」 という裏目標を自分に課して作りました。響きは多少地味ですが、これで独特の妖しさを出せたと思います。 The secret goal of this arrangement was to create "a song that stays interesting to the end while only using two tones and no percussion at all." It might sound a bit simplistic, but I think it ended up having a unique and mysterious quality. |

Things to come. I already knew a CD release was coming, so I arranged this thinking of those listening alone, late at night. |

| 『ロボボプラネット』のシンボルとなる曲をとりまとめてアレンジしています。 明るい曲調になっても、社歌として歌える部分があって、しかもロボボっぱい雰囲気が感じられるように、 と考えながら音を並べてみました。 This song is an arrangement of several themes that symbolize "Planet Robobot". Although the melody is bright, I wanted to make sure that there were parts that could be sung as a corporate anthem, and arranged it while keeping a Robobot-like atmosphere in mind. |
