| “ | With a theme song called "The Greatest Warrior in the Galaxy," you know this guy is serious business. | ” | — American English trophy description of Galacta Knight inSuper Smash Bros. for Wii U |
"The Greatest Warrior in the Galaxy" is the theme song ofGalacta Knight, first appearing inKirby Super Star Ultra. The track has since been rearranged in three subsequent games: once inKirby's Return to Dream Land, once inKirby: Planet Robobot, and twice inSuper Kirby Clash. It is one of the heaviest music tracks in terms of intensity and instrument speed in theKirby series.
Composition[edit]

"The Greatest Warrior in the Galaxy" is a fast and energetic heavy metal piece in D minor. It starts with a sustained A minor chord. The pace is set by a cymbal, and the main part begins. The bassline is remarkably similar to "VS. Meta Knight". There is no single defined melody, and all diversity comes from the modification of the rhythmical pattern. At first, there are rapid sixteenth notes on the second beat, then followed by a moderate pace, which in turn changes to a more frantic one. Halfway through the track, a solo electric guitar has a bright descending improvisational passage. After this, the rhythmical phrases become significantly shorter, gaining new melodic properties. For some time afterwards, there is no noticeable change in pitch. Then, the original rhythmical pattern returns, and the track loops.
