"The Beast Pack's Final Stand" is the theme for thestage of the same name inKirby and the Forgotten Land and itsNintendo Switch 2 Edition. It is primarily an arrangement of "Welcome to the New World!", incorporating elements of "Plundering Beast Battle", "Burning, Churning Power Plant", and "VS. Dangerous Beast", and was composed byYuki Shimooka.[1]
Composition[edit]

"The Beast Pack's Final Stand" is a climactic piece with heavy emphasis on brass instrumentation and percussion. It begins with a grandiose rendition of the "Welcome to the New World!" motif in G minor before coming to a climax. The theme then drops into an electric guitar playing the intro motif from "VS. Dangerous Beast", accompanied by trumpets mimicking the trumpeting of elephants. The theme then transitions into the second section of "Welcome to the New World!" with a brief snippet of "VS. Dangerous Beast" part way through. The arpeggio from "Burning, Churning Power Plant" comes in before the "Welcome to the New World!" motif returns in full force. The "VS. Dangerous Beast" motif then returns with emphasis before the song drops into an tense, orchestral interlude. An orchestral run reminiscent of a faster version of the "VS. Dangerous Beast" melody plays, building up with the "Welcome to the New World!" motif as well before coming to a climax with the fast "VS. Dangerous Beast" motif again before the music quiets down. A lone cello takes over with the "Welcome to the New World!" motif in a melancholic tone, accompanied by a piano. The motif repeats in a more climactic fashion, with hints of "Running Through the New World" coming in towards the end. The second section of "Welcome to the New World!" returns, first played by trombones, followed by trumpets and then a xylophone before they all repeat it at the same time as the theme climaxes once more. The track then loops back to the "VS. Dangerous Beast" intro motif, skipping the intro of the song.
