Sword Hero, also once referred to asBlade Hero^[1] andHero Sword^[2], is one of the fourroles that can be taken on in theSub-Game Team Kirby Clash and its expansions,Team Kirby Clash Deluxe andSuper Kirby Clash. It is based onSword, though it bears some noteworthy differences. Unlike the Sword costume,Kirby is dressed as a knight, with a helmet, sword and shield. In addition, when performing aGuard, Sword Hero Kirby creates a large bubble shield that can protect his teammates as well as himself. Sword Hero Kirby can also revive a fallen teammate using theRevival Spell, but this costs a small amount ofhealth to perform (although this cannot outright KO Sword Hero Kirby).

Moveset[edit]

Sword Hero moveset
Skill	Button Execution	Description
Overhead Slash	B	Sword Hero swipes vertically forward with his sword.
Multisword Attack	B after Overhead Slash	Sword Hero performs a series of rapid swipes, and then finishes off with a big strike.
Spin Slash	Press and hold B, and then release	Sword Hero charges up, then releases a big spin attack. He can move slowly left or right while performing this attack. This attack has three levels of charge, with longer charge times meaning more damage. This is particularly effective against stunned enemies. Unlike in the main series, Sword Hero Kirby's Spin Slash does not contain any invincibility frames.
Twister Slash	Press and hold B, and then release + ↑	Sword Hero charges up, then jumps while performing a spin attack. He can move slowly left or right while performing this attack. This attack has three levels of charge, with longer charge times meaning more damage. Unlike in the main series, Sword Hero Kirby's Twister Slash does not contain any invincibility frames.
Drill Stab	Dash + B	Sword Hero lunges forward a good distance with his sword out.
Sword Spin	Dash + B in midair	Sword Hero performs a quick somersault with his sword extended.
Chop and Thrust	B in midair	Sword Hero falls with his sword out, and bounces off enemies he hits.
Hat Thrust	Chop and Thrust and hold B, then ↓ in midair	Sword Hero positions his sword vertically below him and falls to the ground. He will bounce if he hits an enemy, and can strike multiple times this way.
Down Thrust	↓ + B in midair	Sword Hero stops and drops rapidly to the ground with his sword below him.
Upward Slash	↑ + B	Sword Hero leaps diagonally upward with his sword out in front.
Sword Dive	↓ + B while rising during Upward Slash	Sword Hero rapidly plummets diagonally downward with his sword out.
Sky Energy Sword	Hold ↑, then release and press B	Sword Hero charges energy into his sword by holding it high, and can release it as a projectile with an Overhead Slash or Chop and Thrust.
Hero Shield	L/R	Sword Hero creates a large, dome-shaped shield surrounding himself, which also protects teammates within it.
Revival Spell	Y near fallen teammate	Sword Hero sacrifices a bit of his own health to revive a fallen teammate.
