Suplex is aCopy Ability which allowsKirby to grab and toss his foes in several different ways to defeat them. This ability is provided bymid-bossesBugzzy,Jukid, andPhan Phan (inKirby Super Star Ultra), thoughBugzzy is the primary representative of the ability. When Kirby obtains this ability, he gains a blue headband similar toThrow and to the red headband of theFighter ability, and gains a darker tone to his skin inKirby Super Star andKirby Super Star Ultra. InKirby Star Allies, Kirby keeps his normal skin tone, but the headband is changed to resemble a wrestling belt.

Kirby Super Star /Kirby Super Star Ultra[edit]
The Suplex ability made its debut inKirby Super Star, where it is primarily obtained from the mid-bossesBugzzy andJukid, the former of which being the representativehelper for the ability. Kirby can also obtain the Suplex ability through aCopy Essence Deluxe inMilky Way Wishes, and inKirby Super Star Ultra, it is also provided by the mid-bossPhan Phan. With this ability, Kirby gets darker skin and a blue headband, similar to that of theFighter ability. His main attacks consist of grabbing opponents and tossing them in various ways, though he also gains a downwards kick that he can use on opponents who cannot be grabbed directly.

Kirby Star Allies[edit]
Suplex returns inKirby Star Allies, where it is once again obtained fromBugzzy. LikeFighter andBeetle, Suplex can be used to performFriend Throw, making it one of the few abilities which shares aFriend Ability with another. Aside from that, its moveset is identical to its prior appearance inKirby Super Star, although it can now damage un-grabbable enemies using Dash Grab and Turbo Dash Grab.
Suplex andPlasma were the only 3D-debuting returning abilities which did not receive any new official artwork inKirby Star Allies, withthe official website reusing theirKirby Super Star Ultra artwork.
