Sulkworm is a large caterpillar-likeenemy which debuted inKirby's Epic Yarn and later appeared inKirby's Extra Epic Yarn. He is fairly uncommon and doesn't move around. His name is a play on "sulk" and "silkworm".
Sulkworm has two methods of attack, both of which can harmKirby orPrince Fluff. The first is a silk ball which he spits out in an arc, which can be caught and used against him. The second is a body slam attack which he uses at close range. If Kirby is hit, several of his beads may become trapped inside Sulkworm's body, and be unobtainable until the beast is defeated. Sulkworm cannot be harmed directly using theYarn Whip, but there are two ways to defeat Sulkworm: throw two objects at him to or use theweight transformation on Sulkworm's head.
InKirby's Extra Epic Yarn, Sulkworm can be found inStage 1 of theSub-GameSlash & Bead.Meta Knight can choose to either fly over it or defeat it with his sword orSpecial.
