Stretch and Collect! Scissor-Lift Road (Scissor-Lift Mouth Treasure for short) is a stage inTreasure Road, found inOriginull Wasteland. This stage tasksKirby with completing a challenge revolving around the use ofScissor-Lift Mouth, moving along tracks to collectCollect Pieces. The stage is initially hidden, and can be found by "searching" theWorld Map, located at the far right end of the area atop a lighthouse. It is marked by two stars of difficulty and has a stage time of two minutes (one and a half minutes in Wild Mode), with a target time of one minute.

Stage details[edit]

This stage tasks Kirby with making use of several scissor-lifts to move along tracks and collect Collect Pieces, then move up to the next floor. There are a total of five levels with a scissor-lift on each one. The first three are simple affairs, withScissor-Lift Mouth Kirby moving pastGordos andGigatzo shots. The fourth one has him riding a moving platform. The last one has him rolling along a path ofBreakable Blocks before he can collect the last Collect Piece and open the gate at the top, so he can use the warp pad inside to get to theRare Stone.

Tips[edit]

The following are tips on how to attain the target time for this stage:

• There are opportunities for Kirby to cut corners a little on this stage, by stopping prematurely after collecting the things he needs and hopping off the scissor-lift to hover over to the next level.
• In some cases, it may be advantageous for Kirby to take a hit rather than wait for the next cycle.
