"Storm Cloud"[conjectural title] is a music track that first appeared inKirby: Squeak Squad.

Composition[edit]

Spark Kirby storming some clouds.

"Storm Cloud" is a sinister, melody-light song with a focus on drum and bass, mostly set on the key of C minor and 4/4. After a quick drum fill as an intro, the song kicks off with its simple main melody, which solely consists of whole notes chords. Surrounding it is a counterpoint made of a essentially two instruments conversating with each other, mostly alternating playing each bar, but also occasionally playing simultaneously; others are also present and play occasionally each bar, completing their phrases. After eight bars, the main melody ceases, and the counterpoint plays alone for another eight bars. The song then loops. The drum fill of the intro plays at the end of each eight bars, to signify when the main melody appears and when it ceases.

InKirby Star Allies, "Storm Cloud" is remixed alongside "Deep Sea Area" in the medley heard when viewing the Shadowy PartnersCelebration Picture. Notably, part of the counterpoint of the song persists throughout the whole medley, and plays even during the "Deep Sea Area" section. This medley was arranged byYuuta Ogasawara.
