Stone-Needle is aPower Combo inKirby 64: The Crystal Shards that combines theNeedle andStone abilities. It transformsKirby's right arm into a drill, and the ability is used differently on the ground and in midair.

By default when using Stone-Needle, Kirby automatically slides forward. He cannot jump or turn around until he releases the drill, though if he is in midair, he does briefly hang in the air when he starts drilling before falling normally. The player can make Kirby release the drill by pressing the B button, causing it to shoot off in the direction Kirby is facing. When using Stone-Needle while holding down on the + Control Pad, Kirby drills downward.

Like the other abilities inKirby 64: The Crystal Shards, this ability does not change Kirby's physical appearance in any way until it is used.
