Stappy[Japanese title] is a larger variant ofTappy that appears inKirby Mass Attack. It is similar in look to the smaller Tappy, but has spikes on its lower half. Stappy also has a more detailed face with cheek blush similar to that ofKirby, making it somewhat resembleBouncy and its relatives. When Stappy spins, it creates a sandstorm that will obscure the player's view. Once the dust is kicked up, Stappy may turn upside-down, giving theKirbys an opportunity to attack. Defeating Stappy confers 500 points onto the player.

Stappy is not mentioned by name byDaroach, but he does reference it as an enemy which can "stir up a sandstorm". Stappy is also not given a name outside of the original Japanese release.

Locations[edit]

Stappy appears only inSandy Canyon - Stage 4.
