Sportles are all about meeting new people and seeing new places, so it should come as no surprise that they simply must follow Kirby the second they spot him. Pink Sportles are the rarest of the species.
— Figurine description ofSportle fromKirby and the Rainbow Curse

Sportle is an enemy which exclusively appears inKirby and the Rainbow Curse, and is only found in theWoodland Battle stage. It emerges from a random spot from the air once theKirby Tank gets close enough, continuously homing in on Kirby. It takes two hits from the Kirby Tank to defeat, and splits into twoSportletinis once defeated. It does not reward any points on its own. Its figurine description states that there are rare pink Sportles, but the only color Sportles have in-game is red.

Trivia[edit]

  • Despite the figurine text mentioning that there are pink Sportles, there is not a single pink Sportle in the game. This stems from an unclear translation of the Japanese text, where the "pink" is actually referring to Kirby: it reads「いつか、他の世界に行って、色々なものを見てみたい。そんなファンガースは、はじめて見るカービィを追いかけずにはいられない。ピンク色ってめずらしいし。」, which translates more literally to "Sportle wants to someday visit other worlds and see all kinds of things. Because of that, seeing Kirby for the first time, it can't help but chase after him. Pink is such an unusual color, after all."
