You may have seen the Spinwheel Flowers on this island. If you can pluck all of the petals from these spinning flowers, you’ll get something for your trouble. There’s one flower hereabouts that looks like a Spinwheel Flower, but it’s got a dangerous petal. I think one of the medals we’re looking for is inside it.
— Daroach, inKirby Mass Attack

Spinwheel Flower is adevice found inKirby Mass Attack. It resembles a flower and has a question mark in the center, a winding stem similar to that of aSnoozroot and colorful rotating petals. Most Spinwheel Flowers are harmless and dropfruit when all of their petals are removed, though some disguise a Snoozroot that attacks theKirbys when unveiled. Another variety has one spiky petal that harms a Kirby when touched. To destroy a spiky petal, the Kirbys must remove all other petals or simply touch the spiky petal while invincible. When defeated, these types of Spinwheel Flowers bear amedal contained within abubble. Spinwheel Flowers can have either four or eight petals.
