Spinner[1] is an item which appears in theTop Ride mode ofKirby Air Ride. It appears randomly during standard races, dropping onto the course. When touched by a racer, the machine is equipped with large rings on each side. While equipped, the racer will perform an extendedQuick Spin whenever aBoost is performed, similar to theTornado ability. Enemies that are hit by this spin will be knocked away.

Spinner cannot be shaken off using aQuick Spin, but it can be removed if the racer is attacked or enters a stage hazard. It also disappears on its own after about 8 seconds.
