Spin Boarder

Spin Boarder is aMetamortextransformation inKirby's Epic Yarn andKirby's Extra Epic Yarn. In this form,Kirby orPrince Fluff pilot a penguin-like suit riding a surfboard. The transformation first appears inRainbow Falls inGrass Land.
Abilities[edit]
Depending on who touches the Metamortex first, Kirby or Prince Fluff will turn into a penguin-like rider on a surfboard. Either Kirby or Prince Fluff will then move by himself, usually due to gravity or running water in high speeds. After the rider does a jump, he can spin to gain further horizontal distance; spinning on an enemy grants him an even further distance via a small bounce. In later stages, the Spin Boarder can also pick up a power-up that gives the rider temporary wings, with which multiple midair jumps can be made. The transformation ends, like all others, when the rider hits aReel Gate.
When two players are playing, if either Kirby or Prince Fluff is the one who does not touch the Metamortex, he ends up as a small bird that perches on top of the rider. Kirby or Prince Fluff can then help the rider by flapping wings to aid in jumping and spinning.
