Speed Up^[1] is an item from theCity Trial mode ofKirby Air Ride. It has a similar appearance tothe other Speed Up item from Top Ride, having a star with a big arrow to the left of it. Unlike that item, however, Speed Up has a smaller arrow and a bigger star to match the appearance ofAttack Up andDefense Up. When Speed Up is picked up, Kirby and hisAir Ride Machine will flash a light blue, similar to when he picks up a lot of Top Speed patches in a match. While this effect lasts, Kirby's Air Ride Machine will temporarily increase in top speed.

The effects of Speed Up will last for only around 20 seconds before it wears off. It will also wear off if Kirby is off a machine or if his machine is destroyed.

Speed Up also appears inKirby Air Riders, now also appearing inTop Ride andRoad Trip (replacing the other Speed Up item in the former).
