Snowy Fields is the first stage ofSnow Land inKirby's Epic Yarn andKirby's Extra Epic Yarn, unlocked by defeatingCapamari inWater Land. This stage involves Kirby traversing slippery pathways whileWaddle Dees throw huge snowballs in his direction. Clearing this stage yields theMitten Patch, which is used to unlockCozy Cabin. Snowy Fields is also the inspiration forDedede Gogogo - Stage 3 ofDedede Gogogo inKirby's Extra Epic Yarn.
Overview[edit]
This stage takes place out on a night-time snowy landscape with icy buildings, igloos, and pine trees to look at. Throughout the entirety of this stage, Kirby will need to contend withWaddle Dees who periodically make and throw snowballs that roll across the area. Some of these snowballs are comically large, making them difficult to avoid. If Kirby is caught in one, he will be packed inside and carried along, though with a bit of wriggling, he can break free before hitting a wall. With some effort, Kirby can jump on top of a snowball and ride it, gaining some extra height. Along the way, there are a couple of doorways in the ice structures that Kirby can jump into to access certain areas. After passing through this trial, theBonus Bell can be found off to the right.
