This article is about the frog-like enemy found in several Kirby games, and should not be confused with the similar-lookingSir Slippy fromKirby's Dream Land 2 andKirby's Block Ball.

Slippy[1] is a bulbous yellow-orange frog-like creature with two feet that commonly inhabits pools ofwater, but can also be seen hopping around on land. It first appeared inKirby's Adventure, where it serves as one of the game's regularenemies, and can be seen in a few of the subsequentKirby games, making its last proper appearance inKirby Super Star Ultra.

Slippy's movements can be hard to predict at times, particularly when it is hopping around on land. This makes it a moderate threat toKirby when he enters its territory, but it has little in the means of defense aside from contactdamage. It can be easilyinhaled, though it grants noCopy Ability when swallowed.

Kirby's Adventure /Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land[edit]

Slippy makes its debut appearance inKirby's Adventure and appears again inthe remake. Slippy is capable of swimming underwater, moving in short bursts. When on land, it hops around in high bounds, making it somewhat more dangerous than most other foes.

Kirby's Pinball Land[edit]

InKirby's Pinball Land, Slippy appears inWispy-Woods Land, up at the top of the board, where it frequently changes places with an item that changes based on how manyCappies are left. If Kirby moves toward Slippy, it will sometimes hop over him. If collided with, Slippy won't be defeated, but will give 3000 points.

Kirby Super Star /Kirby Super Star Ultra[edit]

Slippy appears in this game and its remake, though it is not particularly common. It has the same basic look and function that it did inKirby's Adventure.
