Slash Wisely! Rope-Cutting Quiz (Sword Treasure for short) is a stage inTreasure Road, found inWondaria Remains. This stage tasksKirby with completing a challenge revolving around the use ofSword, cuttingropes in order to progress down a series of floors. The stage is unlocked after rescuing 27Waddle Dees in Wondaria Remains. It is marked by two stars of difficulty and has a stage time of two minutes (one minute and a half in Wild Mode), with a target time of one minute.
Stage details[edit]
This stage consists of a tall tower with many floors. Kirby starts at the top and must descend the floors by cuttingropes holding the platforms up. As he progresses, he needs to collect all fiveCollect Pieces so that he can activate the warp pad at the bottom. Along the way, he will need to be careful which ropes he cuts, as choosing the wrong ones might put him in a little (or a lot) of trouble. Once Kirby is at the bottom, if he has collected all five Collect Pieces, he can then use the warp pad to get to theRare Stone.
Tips[edit]
The following are tips on how to attain the target time for this stage:
- Kirby should not spend too much time trying to battle enemies. The ropes should be his main priority.
- It may be useful for Kirby to take note of which ropes he ought to go for when replaying this stage, so that the decisions can be made quickly.
- Kirby is advised to use Spin Slashes on the lower floors, as they are able to cut through many ropes at once.
