The leader of the Skullys, the Skullseer, is floating around this island somewhere. It's said that he possesses a treasure, but you'll need to find a special vault key to get at it.
— Daroach, inKirby Mass Attack

Skullseer is amid-boss inKirby Mass Attack. He appears inVolcano Valley - Stage 5, and can only be accessed by bringing the BigSkull Key to the door near the end of the stage. Skullseer is part of theSkull Gang, and commands theSkullys in the region. He looks similar to Skully, but is larger, and has horns. Fighting Skullseer is similar to fighting the Skullys.Kirbys have to latch onto him and bring him down three times to defeat him. Meanwhile, Skullseer will be calling more Skullys to defend him. Skullseer can also nab Kirbys, but does not do so as often as the minions do. If Skullseer does nab a Kirby though, he will KO him. Skullseer must be defeated to obtain theRainbow Medal in the stage he appears in, and will award 3,000 points upon defeat.

Skullseer also appears inSurvival Rush, behind the one-Kirby door.
