This article is about the skits in Kirby Star Allies. For the ending skits seen in the Japanese version ofKirby: Right Back at Ya!, seeKirby of the Stars ending skits.

Skits (title screen animations)^[1] refer to a series of short animations featuringKirby,Friends andDream Friends, which are performed in the title, file select and mode select menus inKirby Star Allies.

Overview[edit]

As of Version 3.0.0, there were 82 different skit patterns, 18 of which were added in Version 3.0.0.^[1]

As of Version 4.0.0, there are 117 different skit patterns, 35 of which were added in Version 4.0.0.^[2]

Not all skit patterns are available when the player creates a new save file. When the player starts playing a save file for the first time, onlyKirby is seen in the title screen. Many of them are unlocked when the player meets unusedCopy Abilities (includingFriend Abilities) and their correspondingFriends. Some are also unlocked by that save file's progress, such as ones that featureDream Friends. Kirby's design is also affected by theDream Button toggle. Skit availability at the title screen and file select is determined based on the last save file to have been opened.

Skits are performed randomly (though some skits always play one after the other), similar to how theKeychain patterns arerandomly displayed on theKirby: Triple Deluxe mode select screen and how theRobobot Armor andstickers arerandomly displayed on theKirby: Planet Robobot mode select screen.

• In Version 3.0.0,Dark Meta Knight could never have an element in the skits even though the coding allowed him to. This has been fixed in Version 4.0.0.
