This article is about the frog-like enemy found inKirby's Dream Land 2 andKirby's Block Ball, and should not be confused with the similar-lookingSlippy from several other Kirby games.
Sir Slippy is a bulbous yellow-orange frog-like creature with two feet that resemblesSlippy fromKirby's Adventure. It first appeared inKirby's Dream Land 2, commonly found throughout pools ofwater, but can also be seen hopping around on land. Its most recent appearance is inKirby's Block Ball.
Sir Slippy's movements can be hard to predict at times, particularly when it is hopping around on land, making it a moderate threat toKirby when he enters its territory. Aside from that, however, Sir Slippy has little in the means of defense aside from contactdamage, and can beinhaled easily, though it still grants noCopy Ability when swallowed.
Sir Slippy is a common enemy inKirby's Block Ball. It is worth 600 points when defeated and usually drops afood item.
Its in-game sprite is identical to that of its prior appearance inKirby's Dream Land 2, but its artwork as seen in the manual is re-colored from Slippy's art fromKirby's Adventure. The20th Anniversary Kirby Pupupu Encyclopedia lists this character as "Slippy", but the laterKirby Character Encyclopedia confirms that it is Sir Slippy.
