This article is about one of the themes from Ripple Field. For the level fromKirby's Dream Land 3, seeRipple Field (Kirby's Dream Land 3).
This article is about the secondary theme ofRipple Field, and should not be confused withRipple Field: Ocean Waves.

"Ripple Field"[1] is a stage theme that was composed byJun Ishikawa. This theme is the second theme fromRipple Field, and can first be heard inthe third stage of Ripple Field.

Composition[edit]

Kirby ponders whether he should risk grabbing the Energy Drink or not.

"Ripple Field" is one of the more relaxing themes inKirby's Dream Land 3. This theme doesn't really have an intro, so it starts with the first portion. This said first portion is in the key of C major and the melody is played with some sort of wave instrument. This melody is played once again, but with a different lead instrument (a trumpet sounding one). After this, the second portion starts, and is played in E-flat major. This portion is played with a synth. A short while after this, the theme seems to descend (it transitions back to the key of C), and the song loops.
