Revenge of Meta Knight - Chapter 1

Chapter 1 ofRevenge of Meta Knight is the first of seven chapters in this game-mode fromKirby Super Star andKirby Super Star Ultra. In this chapter, Kirby flies in on hisWarp Star and lands on theHalberd's landing pad in an attempt to board the ship before it takes off. Kirby is distracted byHeavy Lobster, who stops him from boarding the ship before it flies away, blowing him into the ocean.
Overview[edit]
After the opening cutscene, the game begins withKirby reaching the landing pad on which the Halberd is located using his Warp Star, as it is about to take off. Kirby begins with 3000 on the timer, about 250 of which are eaten up by the flight in using theWarp Star. After busting through a number of foes, Kirby uses a door to enter the landing pad quarters.
Inside the room, Kirby's presence is made known to the crew, and Captain Vul ordersHeavy Lobster to be sent to deal with him. From here, Kirby has to move downward and reach the door at the bottom.
The door takes him to one of the main thrusters of the Halberd, as it's about to take off. Here, Heavy Lobster appears to slow Kirby down as the ship prepares to take off. Defeating Heavy Lobster is not necessary to move on, as after a short amount of time, the thruster activates, blowing Kirby off of the landing pad and into the water.
Dialogue[edit]
Intermittently,Meta Knight and his crew can be heard by the player through dialogue boxes which pop up as Kirby makes his way through the stage. The following table lists off their dialogue in chronological order:

Trivia[edit]
- Under certain circumstances (such as using co-opWheelie Rider), it is possible to defeat Heavy Lobster before the main engines turn on to blow Kirby away. However, doing so does not change the outcome of the chapter.
- InKirby Super Star, theWheelie in this stage is only part of the cutscene when Kirby enters the Halberd, and cannot be encountered. However, inKirby Super Star Ultra, Kirby is now allowed to go back and encounter the Wheelie, allowing the player to easily obtain theWheel ability early on.
