Game appearances[edit]

Kirby Mass Attack[edit]

The Recovery Ring inStage 1 ofGreen Grounds.
You'll find rings, like the one shown to the right, in many stages. If a blue Kirby passes through a Recovery Ring, his health is restored and he turns back to his original pink color.
— Daroach,Kirby Mass Attack Instruction Booklet (North American English version), page 13

Recovery Rings are very common inKirby Mass Attack and can be found in every non-boss stage as well as the lobby ofSurvival Rush. They are pink and have a gold outline, an insignia of a star in the middle, and sparkles all around. If the player flicks or drags one or moreKirbys through the ring, any damaged blue Kirbys will regain their health and pink color. There is no limit to how many times a player can use a Recovery Ring. However, the ring has no effect on Kirbys that are already at full health. It also cannot be used to revive KO'd Kirbys.

Dedede's Drum Dash Deluxe[edit]

Recovery Rings make a second appearance inDedede's Drum Dash Deluxe. Here, they resemble blue hoops with one bell on either side and a red heart floating in the middle.King Dedede can jump through these rings to regain a portion of health, but they can only be used once. When used, the Recovery Ring makes a jingle sound and disappears. Recovery Rings can be found in all normal levels except forFloral Fields. By default, while most levels have only one Recovery Ring, the levelsBoarding the Halberd andC-R-O-W-N-E-D have two each; they appear more often once King Dedede is down to half of his health.[1][2] There are no Recovery Rings in any of the secret levels.
