— VS Rampaging Doomers Special Page fromKirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe

TheRampaging Doomers are the boss ofLocandra Dimension fromMagolor Epilogue: The Interdimensional Traveler inKirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe. They are a group of four sickly purple-coloredSphere Doomer-like creatures who have horns made ofEnergy Sphere gears and who attack in a coordinated manner, dropping explosive stardust clouds wherever they fly. Upon defeating them, Magolor will receive aFruit Fragment that lets him upgradehis magical skills even further. More of them are later summoned by theCrowned Doomer as part of his boss fight.

Attacks[edit]

The following are all of the Rampaging Doomers' attacks. All attack names come from official Japanese strategy guides.

Rampaging Doomers' attacks inKirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe
AttackDescription
バーストダスト
Burst Dust
Almost all of the Rampaging Doomers' attacks leave behind stardust clouds that linger for a few moments before they explode. Only the explosion deals damage, not the stardust clouds themselves.
エナジーボム
Energy Bomb
One or more Rampaging Doomers fires dark orbs in various patterns which explode on impact or after a moment. The Doomers may also throw out exploding stardust clouds around themselves while doing this.
The energy bombs can be knocked away with any attack or inhaled and swallowed for theBombCopy Ability.
グライド体当たり
Glide Attack
A Rampaging Doomer charges up, then dives across the stage, dealing damage if it hits and dropping exploding stardust clouds as it passes. Theses dives may be synchronized with one or more other Doomers, and there are several different patterns to the dives.
In the second phase, the dive patterns tend to be faster and leave more stardust clouds in their wake.
ローパーズ拡散エナジーボム
Doomers' Spread Energy Bomb
One or more Doomers spins around while dropping energy bombs and explosive stardust clouds as they do.
The energy bombs can be knocked away with any attack or inhaled and swallowed for the Bomb ability.
Second phase only
奥からローパーズ体当たり
Doomers' Tackle from Behind
All four Doomers form a close diamond formation in the background and then fly through the middle of the stage while spinning around each other. Once they pass, a huge number of exploding stardust clouds appear all around the arena.
奥からローパーズエナジーボム
Doomers' Energy Bomb from Behind
All four Rampaging Doomers fire dark orbs in from the background, lobbing them so they fall from above. They do this attack twice in a row. After finishing, they all fly in toward the arena at once and leave exploding stardust clouds along the floor.
The energy bombs can be knocked away with any attack or inhaled and swallowed for the Bomb ability.
スターダスト&ブラックホール
Stardust & Black Hole
All four Rampaging Doomers appear in a diamond formation in the center of the arena, create a mini black hole in the middle of their formation that draws player characters in, and then create a ring of exploding stardust clouds that circle the mini black hole before the Doomers fly off in different directions, dropping more stardust clouds as they pass.
The mini black hole itself is the same kind used by theSphere Doomers EX.

Trivia[edit]

  • While there are only supposed to be four Rampaging Doomers, on occasion it is possible to see five on screen at once: if two are in the foreground, there are sometimes three flying in the background.
